On Tuesday, INDIEV took the INDI One to Ohio to celebrate our groundbreaking partnership with Foxconn!
Recently, INDIEV and Foxconn announced first details on a manufacturing partnership, starting with the announcement that preproduction INDI One vehicles will be produced at Foxconn’s new 6.2 million square feet facility in Ohio!
Following presentations from Foxconn leadership including Nio cofounder and the CEO of Foxconn MIH Jack Cheng as well as Foxconn VP of Product & Business Development Rick Rajaie, INDIEV presented on INDIEV’s history, the INDI One, and our partnership with Foxconn. INDIEV was represented on stage by INDI Innovators Terrence ‘DaPoets‘ McKelvey and Taylor ‘Tslayz‘ Cortis.

After the festivities, INDIEV gave test rides to Foxconn employees, as well as local Ohio business leaders and government officials! “Congratulations, I’m really impressed!” said Walt Good, Managing Director at TeamNEO, Northeast Ohio’s business development partner. Other Ohio representatives in attendance included Lordstown Mayor Arno Hill, Warren Mayor Doug Franklin, Youngstown Mayor Tito Brown, Ohio State Senator Mike O’Brien, and Ohio State Senator Michael Rulli.
