On May 25th, INDIEV hosted a Star Wars Pre-Celebration Night hosted by cosplayer, singer and model Kitty Antix. The event was held in our Beverly HIlls showroom, with the main event being a 4-round trivia competition alongside a Star Wars cosplay contest!
Our trivia contest featured some intense competition, and some really tough questions! Fifth through third place were taken by Car Wars, DaPoets Lords, and Sithsayers, respectively. At the end of our 4 rounds of trivia, we ended with a tie for first between Obi-Number One and Cyberpunk for first place!
We held a one question tiebreaker, with the closest team winning it all: “How old was Yoda when he passed away in Return of the Jedi?” By nailing the correct answer (900 years!), Cyberpunk won our inaugural INDIEV Trivia Night! For edging out some tough competition, Cyberpunk went home with some exclusive Star Wars prizes!
INDI EV also hosted a Star Wars cosplay competition with a grand prize of a 4 day Star Wars Celebration ticket which was completely sold out anywhere else! Star Wars fans from all over Los Angeles came to the event dressed in their best Star Wars inspired costumes. Although we saw so many impressive cosplays from a galaxy far, far away, there can only be one winner; and our winner was Daniel Leon, who came in an incredible Darth Maul cosplay!
