We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Finance and Accounting team in the role of Controller. You will join a fast-paced and collaborative environment with the shared ambition to achieve company success. As a perspective hire you will be responsible for implementing policies and procedures for financial reporting, streamline our accounting and internal controls, overseeing financial statements and assist in audits. You are the ideal candidate if you have 10+ years of proven experience, preferably in a public accounting or audit firm, and you held a Controller role before for 4+ years.


  • Overseeing the accounting team in the preparation of income statement, balance sheet and other financial reporting, including tax planning and compliance;
  • Supervise Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable operations;
  • Manage and monitor all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate US GAAP standards;
  • Implement consistent accounting policies, practices, and procedures across the company, upholding federal, state, and local legal standards;
  • Plan, direct and coordinate all accounting operational functions;
  • Provide management with information vital to the decision-making process;
  • Oversee and support accounting team with dynamic leadership that creates an environment of trust and productivity.

Requirements of Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Accounting or related field, MBA preferred;
  • Certified Public Accountant or CMA designation;
  • At least ten (10) years of substantive accounting experience at a public accounting firm or a medium-large company, and 4+ years holding a Controller role;
  • Previous experience in a public accounting / audit firm strongly preferred;
  • Strong working knowledge of detailed financial reporting and analysis;
  • Working knowledge of federal, state, and local tax compliance regulations and reporting;
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, manage time effectively, and establish priorities to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, team environment.
