ADAS/AD SOFTWARE ENGINEER
We currently have exciting opportunities for an advanced driver assistant system (ADAS) Development Engineer for our
ADAS / Autonomous Driving (AD) team. This position requires a strong background in automotive simulation, software
development, and testing. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, possess the ability
to learn quickly and strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, test, and validate ADAS features (automatic emergency brake (AEB), adaptive cruise control (ACC), lane keeping assist system (LKAS), etc.) based on INDI EV defined feature set
- Develop and implement software on automotive electronic control units (ECUs)
- Rapid prototyping of hardware and software for ADAS functions onto test vehicles
- Perform on-road vehicle testing of ADAS features.
- Perform internal proving grounds testing and interface with external testing labs.
- Develop and test ADAS features with hardware in the loop (HIL), software in the loop (SIL), as well as simulations.
Requirements:
- Minimum MSEE degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Software Engineering, or Computer Science or BSEE plus 4+ years
- experience in ADAS/Software Engineering in Automotive Manufacturing or related occupation
- C/C++, MATLAB/Simulink, and Python programming experience
- Experience in Linux and embedded environments.
- Knowledge of embedded microcontrollers such as Infineon AURIX, NXP MPC5XXX
- Experience working with ADAS-related sensors (camera, radar, and ultrasonic)
- Experience in computer vision, machine learning, and vehicle motion planning and control
- Experience implementing sensor fusion algorithms
Preferred Skills:
- Programming certification in C/C++, MATLAB/Simulink, Python, Linux, Infineon AURIX, NXP MPC5XXX,
- FreeRTOS, QNX, PXROS, AUTOSAR, ADAS sensors, CAN, LIN, Ethernet, Vector tools like CANoe, CANape, CAPL
- Comfortable working with RTOS such as FreeRTOS, QNX, PXROS
- Experience implementing software with AUTOSAR
- Familiarity with functional safety concepts as defined by ISO 26262.
