Earlier this month, INDIEV made the cross-country trek to the 2022 New York International Auto Show, and it was a huge two weeks for the INDI Family!
We opened the show with a press conference led by Andre Hudson, our Head of Product Design. There, we went into more detail on the engineering and design of our flagship vehicle, the INDI One. We were also joined by some special guests! Our Head of Battery Systems Tom Gage dove deep on our proprietary battery pack and platform, and our old friend Menswear Dog stopped by to check out the INDI One in person! We spoke more on the two different trim options available to drivers, and the advantages that the Standard and Premium trims offer.
The biggest news of our press conference, however, came at the end. We released reservations for the INDI One during the show! William Bridge, the CEO of world-renowned Global Green, joined us virtually to be the first to reserve the INDI One. New Yorkers fell in love with our flagship EV, and reserved their very own right at our booth! We also debuted some all-new INDIEV merchandise, and our first reservations at the show got exclusive gifts including our new hats, hoodies, and more! To reserve your own, click here.
Our booth took center stage right at the main entrance to the show’s main hall. The booth design featured beautiful artwork referencing our vision of a connected, futuristic world we have to look forward to. The booth was centered by the INDI One, shown in our gorgeous and minimalist Pacific Pearl paint, as well as our proprietary platform. Our platform is a truly impressive piece of engineering that our teams designed in-house at our headquarters in Los Angeles, supporting two motors and a 95 kWh battery pack on our premium trim. With this, INDIEV was able to show off the connectivity and control offered to INDI One passengers, as well as give attendees a look at the beautiful simplicity and tremendous power that EV engineering offers drivers.
One of the biggest draws to the Auto Show was our presence at the show’s first-ever EV Test Track. There, show attendees were the first to be able to test ride the INDI One. We also showed off our exclusive VR experience. Our in-vehicle VR is bolstered by 3 amazing games, developed to work in tandem with the motion of the INDI One to provide a groundbreaking, deeply immersive experience.
Like all auto shows, it truly took a village to bring INDIEV across the USA to the Javits Center. Meeting the great people of New York City and being able to show off the INDI One in all its glory was an incredible experience. The support shown for INDIEV was tremendous, and we can’t wait until the next show!
